Birds in Snow

When I changed cameras from full frame to micro four thirds I discovered a wonderful feature in my OM System OM1 Mark 2 camera called Pro Capture. The camera holds an image of a bird in a buffer before it takes flight and then moves it to the memory card when I depress the shutter, making it possible to capture the position of the bird before it flies, and after it is in flight. Amazing! More amazing are the beautiful images of birds this captures. On a snowy day I spent time watching birds coming to a feeder and used this feature to capture them against the snowy background so that some images appear as high key. Others capture the bird in flight. I also include in this collection birds in snowy landscapes from various locations.
