The Butterfly Collection is an ongoing project in which I have undertaken a self-assignment to photograph butterflies across the eastern United States. Butterflies are Nature's works of art. Beautiful in appearance, form and movement. I often think that as an adult I anticipate "butterfly season" with similar excitement to that I experienced as a child with the coming of Christmas. These images are mostly from various landscapes across middle Tennessee.
